as plans progress for the family trip to oz i noticed that the financial part was getting a little high for the amount of time we were planning on being there. i feel that spending 13000 for six weeks was a bit steep. also, i have a been there done that attitude about some of the activities we are planning on doing while there. therefore i have made a decison to not attend everything with the relatives. i am still planning on going, mind you, but do some other things seperatley. alvin is planning on being there at about the same time that i am so we are half-assly planning some activities to do. basically when i get to oz i will be spending 3 days in coonawara, which is on the southern part of the gold coast. this is where the reunion is going to be held. while dad is visiting with friends of old mom and i are planning on doing some snorkling on the reef. after that everyone will be heading south to melbourne. at this time i am planning on going off on my own. i will be meeting up with them after 12 days of them doing there thing and me doing mine. needless to say, i need to find something to do for 12 days. running around with al would be fun but i think we need to plan some stuff while we are here. after meeting up in sydney i will be going to vietnam with the parents. i am looking foreward to this. i am also looking foreward to hanging out with vanessa. so if you have any ideas i am more that happy to hear what you suggest. presently i am drawing a blank.

    Phantom
So i have finnished phantom. who is next? let me know. all i gotta say is everything has to hit rock bottom before there can be a great rising. i can say that i am not completly supprised because terry always finds the worst situation to put people in. and that is the second time Khalan has come that close.

    the Wit

    (52% dark, 38% spontaneous, 26% vulgar)

    your humor style:
    CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.

Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/.

    Stupid and Ballsy
In case the word has not quite gotten around yet I have put in my two weeks at RnR. Personality conflicts is the main reason for my decision. So, if anyone you know is looking for someone like me to work for someone like them, send me their way. I just hope this decision does not come around to bite me in the ass.

It is always nice to find that you have more money than what you thought. This means that I can stay a little longer and visit my uncle and aunt. Sorry but it seems that rusty is not coming home just as soon as some might hope. for all intencive purposes, expect me home on the 4th. keep the home fires burning.

The hostel that i am staying in right now seems really nice. I just wish that it was a little smaller. But everything is clean and there is access to the roof. It is kind of located between the city and kings cross. I think I will go out and see if there is a small cafe or something open to eat at. I know that I sould not do it and save my money but what is the point of money if you don't enjoy it. It just means that I will be coming home sooner. Something I look foreward to. Last night I went to the roof and met someone from toronto. she is only in oz for a little over a week. she loved the fact that i am from canada because she missed a lot of things about it like the music. you can imagine how she felt when i brought up my cds and reconfirmed her love of good canuck music. also, she loved the words I used like dude and the fact that I flick beer caps. she said I was the most canadian canadian she has met out here. we smoked up and she rolled a joint right, no tobacco. I sat and talked for what seems like ages with her boyfriend from ireland about what i believe and why i believe what i believe. oh, the conversations you have while under the infuence of drugs. what will I do when I get back? where will I stay. home most likely. where will I work? winners is a last resort but i feel if needed it i could get a job there rather easily as long as there is still someone there who knows me. but as I said, a last resort. I just look foreward to hangin with my friends. going out and dining at places like moxies and montanas and jack astors. going to the sultans tent. wing night at woodies. cold weather. I just hope when I get back someone will bring a warm coat. will there be snow? only time will tell. see ya in a bit

Last night was new years eve so I went into the city to try and have a good time. I went to the harbor bridge to see the fireworks and that was cool but other than that it was a dead night. nothing to do with no one to do it with. I will give a call later today to the people at home who should be having a good time.

    two days in sydney
I nearlly missed the train to sydney because I woke up a six and the train left at six thirty. nevertheless, I made it. Slept most of the way and eventually found myself in Sydney. Nancy was already hear a day (nancy is a friend from the hostel in brisbaine). ended up staying at the same house as her for the first night and didn't find any accomodation the first day so ended up going over to another place with lawrie and liz, the two I was traveling with. It was a cool little flat. only one room but the whole place was decorated with advertisements for raves from canada and here. The two flatmates were canadian who knew someone liz knew. They had one of the wierdest bongs I have ever seen. Smooth. Double chambered. After smoking up watched the matrix and realised how much like a comic book it is. The most detailed graphic novel. Still didn't find accomodation the next day (because there isn't any) so lawrie and liz decided to fly back to brisbaine and I am stuck here. fortunately, I was able to get a hold of an old scouting buddy of my dad's named norma and I am staying here until after new year. It should be interesting. Lookin' foreward to it. Maybe call ya then. xmas just didn't work out for calling people. sorry.

In a few hours I will be getting on a train for Sydney and head on down. I think that I will have to spend that night at the train station because I need to be at a hostel early the next morning to see if I can get in. New years will be murder there. Should be fun. I just need to not run out of money. Maybe get a job for the time I am there. Quite expencive, I here. Dunno. we'll see.

I have not been able to post anyting the past few days because there was something wrong with somethign. Apparently, I posted something in the year 2016 and lj would not let me post anything on the correct date. that is why I sent the test because I fixed it with the help of lj. I just wish it never happened. whenever I would post something it said that I couldn't and erased everything I wrote. Needless to say that I was a little frustrated that my words were not shown to those who would appreciate them. I could try to say what I wrote now but it would not be the same. Too bad. I feel that I had a lot to say. But now I know what to look for and it is fixed for now. Look for more in the future.
